Safe & Social: A Self Defense Experience for Dog Lovers

This one-of-a-kind event combines practical self-defense training, personal safety strategies, and community connection in a supportive, pet-friendly setting. Learn techniques to stay alert and protected while walking your dog after dark, gain confidence in handling unexpected situations, and connect with fellow pet parents who share your commitment to safety. Meanwhile, your pup will enjoy supervised off-leash playtime with our trained staff. Because safety isn’t just about walking alone — it’s about walking empowered, with your best friend by your side.

Calling all Frenchie lovers! Join us for a paw-some afternoon dedicated to the most charming pups in Chicago — the French Bulldogs. Let your Frenchie romp, play, and socialize off-leash in our indoor Pup Park while you connect with fellow Frenchie parents over drinks and treats.

Celebrate the season of gratitude with your Pup Social pack at our cozy, fall-inspired Friendsgiving Potluck, hosted in collaboration with the Women’s Social Club – Chicago Chapter. This social gathering brings together members and friends for an evening of community, connection, and autumn cheer.

Members are invited to bring a dish—or a dog-friendly treat—to share, while Pup Social provides festive décor, seasonal beverages such as our signature apple cider mule, and pumpkin pup cups for the dogs. The evening will include fun games, a fall-themed photo backdrop for festive portraits, and plenty of off-leash playtime in the Pup Park. Pups can also join in the fun with a doggie treat exchange. It’s the perfect way for pawrents and pups to share a meal, celebrate community, and give thanks together in true Pup Social fashion.  

What’s Included: 

• Community-style potluck – members bring a dish or dog-friendly treat to share. If they bring a food dish, they will receive a $10 drink voucher

Rise, stretch, and flow with us at 8 AM for a playful yoga class surrounded by adoptable pups from Chicagoland Rescue Authority (CRA), in collaboration with FFC East Lakeview. This energizing morning session combines relaxation, movement, and a whole lot of puppy love.

But the fun doesn’t stop there—after yoga, stick around for our Barkfest Club, an 80’s-themed breakfast party complete with a donut wall, mimosas, doggie biscuits, coffee, and fresh orange juice. We’ll be spinning classic Breakfast Club tunes while pups enjoy agility play in the park.

Your ticket includes entry to both experiences plus one drink ticket (redeemable for a mimosa or coffee). It’s the perfect way to start your morning—with good vibes, great music, tasty bites, and plenty of wagging tails.
