Adopt & Shop: A Day of Rescue Dogs, Local Vendors, and Community Spirit
On August 30th, 2025, Pup Social hosted one of Chicago’s most heartwarming dog-friendly events: Adopt & Shop. The private dog club turned into a lively hub of wagging tails, shopping, and rescue advocacy—bringing humans and pups together for a day of connection, community, and celebration.
Adoptable Dogs Steal the Show

The stars of the event were the adorable adoptable dogs from Chicago Rescue Authority. Each pup brought their own spark of joy, from goofy grins to cuddle-ready calm. Even better, three happy pups—Hoagie, Mikayla, and Grover—found their forever homes during the event.

A Market Made for Pet Lovers
Beyond adoptions, Adopt & Shop was designed to celebrate local businesses and pet parents alike. We curated a vendor market filled with handpicked, pet-focused brands that had tails wagging and humans smiling. From gourmet dog treats to handmade accessories, every vendor was chosen to inspire and delight. This showcase of local talent gave attendees a chance to shop small, support local vendors, and discover new favorites alongside their pups.
